What our Customers say:
Published: Apr 12, 2012Echo used their simulation modeling tool at two of our hospital emergency departments. We had both immediate and sustaining results. We identified the exact areas to focus on without wasting time or money through trial and error. One of our hospitals had a decrease in door to physician time of over 30 minutes and walk outs decreased by over 2%. Our larger hospital emergency department had significant positive results with walk outs decreasing by 5% and door to room times are now at only 12 minutes. Most importantly the MDC (multidisciplinary) process that was implemented decreased the silos and increased interdepartmental communication. This allowed the organizations to manage by fact and build teamwork between departments.

Echo was instrumental in assisting our organization in building a lasting clinical leader model for nursing. Their approach to leadership development is unique, but more importantly, they model behaviors and work side-by-side with the nursing leaders to assure sustainability. The program empowers the nurse to use clinical thinking skills, co-manage patients with physicians and create a patient centered environment. This program was implemented prior to a large EDIS conversion and I believe that the leadership and significant patient centered focus that Echo instilled in the clinical leaders helped to make the implementation successful.
